Do you really come to me?

Yes — we come to your home, your workplace, or a church parking lot. We don't have a shop to visit. The only thing we need on-site is water and electric access, plus a parking space and permission to be on the property.

Do I need to provide water or power?

Yes. We need a working water spigot and a standard outdoor outlet where the vehicle sits. If you don't have those available, we can't do the job on-site, so let us know when you book.

How long does a full detail take?

Accepted Answer

Four to six hours for most vehicles, longer for a large SUV or a truck in rough shape. Interior-only runs two to four hours and exterior-only runs one and a half to three. We'd rather give you an honest window than a fast promise.

How much does detailing cost in Louisville?

Our pricing is published — a full detail starts at $249 for a sedan and rises with vehicle size. Final price depends on condition, so heavy pet hair, mold, or biohazard situations are quoted after we look at the vehicle.

What's the difference between a detail and a car wash?

A car wash removes surface dirt in ten minutes. A detail is hours of hand work: decontamination that pulls bonded iron and tar out of the clear coat, hot-water extraction that pulls dirt out of carpet fibers, and protection applied afterward. One keeps a car presentable; the other restores it.

Can you remove pet hair or smoke smell?

Pet hair comes out with dedicated tools and time — it's an add-on starting at $40 because heavy cases genuinely add an hour or more. Smoke odor responds to a deep interior clean plus an ozone treatment, though very heavy long-term smoke can be stubborn and we'll say so before taking your money.

What can paint correction fix?

Swirl marks, light scratches, oxidation, buffer trails, and etched water spots — anything sitting inside the clear coat. The rule of thumb is the nail test: if your fingernail catches in a scratch, it's too deep to polish out and we'll improve it rather than remove it.

Is ceramic coating worth it in Kentucky?

For a vehicle you plan to keep, generally yes. Between spring pollen, summer sun, and winter road salt, this climate is hard on paint, and a coating makes that seasonal grime release far more easily. It is not scratch-proofing, and we won't sell it that way.

How far will you travel?

About 30 miles from Louisville, which covers Jefferson County and most of Bullitt County. There is no travel fee inside that area. If you're just outside it, call and ask — we'll usually work something out.

Do you detail trucks, boats, or RVs?

Accepted Answer

Trucks absolutely — they're a big part of what we do, priced in the large-vehicle column. Boats and RVs are quoted on request, because gelcoat and large fiberglass panels are a different job with different products and timelines.

What if it rains?

We watch the forecast and reach out ahead of time rather than leaving you wondering. Interior work can usually continue in light weather under cover; exterior work, correction, and coatings get rescheduled to the next available slot at no charge.
