Ceramic Coating in Louisville, KY
Professional-grade protection that shrugs off Kentucky sun, salt, and pollen.
A ceramic coating is a liquid glass layer that chemically bonds to your clear coat and cures hard. It doesn't make paint scratch-proof, and anybody who tells you otherwise is selling. What it does is make the surface slick and chemically resistant, so pollen, bug guts, road film, and winter salt release with far less effort and far less scrubbing.
Most of the work in a coating job is preparation. The paint has to be washed, decontaminated, clayed, polished, and wiped down to bare clear coat before the coating goes on, because the coating locks in whatever is underneath it. That's why every coating package we offer includes a one-step correction as standard.
After application the vehicle needs to stay dry for 24 hours while the coating cures, and it reaches full hardness over the following week. We'll schedule around the weather so you're not chasing a rain gap.
